Kidnap

I was just getting up when my phone rang. Oooh... it's sister.

"Are you ok?"
"Yes I'm."
"Where are u? Are u at home?"
"Yes... what's wrong?" The first thing came across my mind was terrorists attacking Singapore... cuz I dreamt about it last night.
"Nah... dad received a call saying his daughter is being kidnapped and they want $$$$ from him."

Scam.

It's always on the paper and never thought that it would happen in our family. It's the classic scam.

Phone rang and a girl cried hysterically for help.
"I'm a gangster. Your daughter is in our hand in KL. I want 200K.... " bla bla bla... shit like that.
While negotiating with them, dad asked mom to call sis to confirm our safety. The voice of that girl somehow resembled my sister. The caller heard this and they put down the phone.

Minutes later, they called again telling my dad that "his daughter" was unconscious and demanded 200k immediately.

Anyway, glad that it's just a scam and everyone is safe.

Hmm... what a dramatic start for my Friday....

Orange Spinach Salad

I made this salad last week and it's super yum!!!

Ingredients
1 Packet of baby spinach
1 Romaine lettuce
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1/2 diced sweet pepper (red or orange)
2 Oranges, peeled and sectioned
1 cucumber, shredded or thinly sliced

Honey Dill Dressing
3/4 cup Japanese Mayonnaise
2 tbsp. honey
1 tbsp. lemon or lime juice
1 tbsp. dill weed

Whisk and chill the dressing. Toss everything together before serve.
