Today I found that my MacBook battery is dead.... I couldn't start my MacBook wihout the power adapter on.
No... my hair is black, it can't be a blonde day... the battery is fully charged. Here's the proof

Now I'm using the laptop with the power adapter on, and the power will go off in less than 2 seconds if I pull the power adapter off.
Even tried to get the battery out and reset the PMU (power management unit)... still doesn't work.
Googled it and it seems that there is a replace program for MacBook Pro 15 inch batteries, which is different from the model I have. They call it "Replace" but not "Recall" because the consumers have to place a request for new battery at their website. Translating the strategy, it sounds to me that "if you think your MacBook Pro 15 inch battery sucks, tell us and we will replace it for you..."
So... for my battery... which should last 300 charging cycle, approximated useful lifespam of 1 year...
Is it dead? I guess so... it needs death certificate from AppleCentre... luckily it's still under warranty.
